An Admissions Process That’s
Simple & Straightforward
At Princeton Detox & Recovery Center, we pride ourselves on our individualized approach to treatment. Our commitment to providing a treatment plan unique to each client that establishes the fundamentals for a long-term recovery is evident before a patient even begins treatment with us.
We offer a pre-admission clinical assessment for any patient considering treatment with Princeton Detox & Recovery Center. During the pre-admission phone call, a Recovery Specialist speaks with the prospective client or their loved one to learn more about the client and determine a treatment plan that meets their needs. The Recovery Specialist will ask questions about:
- The prospective client’s history of substance use
- Family history
- Physical and psychological health history
- Current medications
- History of treatment
We understand that making the decision to seek treatment can be an emotional and confusing time. Our goal is to serve as a resource for clients and their loved ones. The pre-admission phone call is a time where you are free to ask questions and express your concerns about our detox process, treatment programs, facility, medications we use, etc. We also take this time to verify insurance and benefits.
What to Expect During Admission
A client arriving at Princeton Detox & Recovery Center is provided with transportation to our Princeton, N.J. facility from surrounding airports, including Newark, Philadelphia, LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International. The client immediately meets with a nurse who assesses vital signs and looks for withdrawal symptoms. Within 24 hours of admission, the client meets with a physician and primary counselor.
